Welcome Mira and Sharanya – Lord Somers Camp and Power House

Welcome Mira and Sharanya

The Lord Somers Camp and Power House office are thrilled to introduce the latest additions to our team. Sharanya and Mira have been with us for a few weeks now, joining our Programs and Activities team to support our members and volunteers in delivering all the camps you know and love.

If you’re lucky enough to catch them on a call or email, say hey and give them a warm welcome!

Wominjeka/Vanakkam, I am Sharanya Rajagopalan. I am an event management graduate, passionate about event planning and organising, especially in spaces that unite people and allow learning, knowledge sharing, and provide exhilarating experiences.

I am from Tamil Nadu, a South Indian state, famed for the classical language Tamil and the beautiful Dravidian style temples.

I live in Point Cook with my partner and daughter (4yrs). Painting, jigsaw puzzles, people watching, and spending time with my family and friends are my favourite pastimes. I’m delighted to be part of this organisation that encourages a sense of belonging and acceptance in young minds and supports the broader community through its various programs.

I look forward to working with you all!

I’m Almira, but call me Mira for short. I’m from the Philippines and am currently studying for a Diploma in Leadership Management with Kent Institute Melbourne.

Over the past few years, I’ve been working in training and development, specialising in administration and event management. I also enjoyed doing volunteer work for a foundation founded by my colleague back in the Philippines.

I love traveling and doing arts when away from work.
