Vale Les Twentyman - Lord Somers Camp and Power House

Vale Les Twentyman

Vale Leslie Jack Twentyman

“Les” as he was affectionately known around Melbourne was a prominent youth outreach worker and community activist in the western suburbs. He campaigned to aid issues ranging from social welfare, drug abuse and homelessness. Les presented to our Lord Somers Camp 2018 Groupers at BIG Camp, having a profound impact on their week. When he spoke at BIG CAMP it truly awakened something inside of myself and I’m sure many other young men in attendance. It was one of… if not the first time in my life I wholeheartedly considered others and how important it is to serve your community. Les inspired countless people with his work, his lifelong dedication to helping those in need is exactly what we value here at Powerhouse. We would like to extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. Farewell Les, a legacy of kindness, empathy and service.
