At the time of the King’s accession to the throne in September 2022 we wrote to him expressing our sympathy on the death of The Queen and acknowledging his succession.
We recently received a delightful response from the Head of Royal Correspondence thank us for our letter and acknowledging receipt of the copy of “it’s Only The Game That Counts: A history of Lord Somers Camp and Power House” and acknowledging The Queen Mothers contribution to our organisation and the book.
The letter also included acknowledgement of the role of our organisation in the community and particularly our support for young people.
This correspondence continues our longstanding contact with the Royal Family.
