We have created Rock Around the World to stay connected and have some fun, so on Sunday 21st June, join the thousands of Victorians will be coming together to virtually step, roll or rock right around the world benefiting our community’s most vulnerable.
Lord Somers Camp and Power House has connected with 7 other Victorian charities and united to create this virtual fundraising challenge which enables everyone to contribute and make a difference, without even leaving your home. In addition to counting Steps (walking or running), participants can also Rock (dance, wriggle or move) or Roll (wheelchair, cycle or skate) while tracking progress via fitness tracking apps. Together we’re aiming to lap the world, with 50 million steps, rocks or rolls collectively.
To say THANK YOU to each of our fundraisers, each week we will be offering out 5 entries each to the top 5 LSC&PH fundraisers who will have a chance to win a days support from the Slush. The Slushie King and Slushee Queen promise that the lucky winner will get some well deserved help from a group of Slush to finish off those odd jobs around the home (social distancing restrictions allowing).
