Lord Somers Camp and Power House are looking for a passionate and energetic individual with experience in community program design and development, risk management including embedding Child Safety and a proven capability to work inclusively with groups with a range of different life experiences. This is a key leadership role within a small team with emphasis on understanding community needs and aligning them with volunteer resources and initiatives. Managing internal and external communications through social, email and print whilst embedding child safety practices across the organisation will see you make an important contribution to the future of our organisation.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring strategic insights from diverse cohorts about emerging community needs and the ability to collaborate and connect volunteer resources to support effective impact and outcomes. You’ll also leverage your energetic communication skills to support event and organisation specific communications via email, print and social. You will have experience in ensuring program quality and strong risk management and familiarity with providing safe environments for children and young people and a strong understanding of the Commission For Children and Young Peoples 11 Child Safety Standards.
