PROTECT YOURSELF

1. YOU ARE THE BOSS

Your body belongs to you and what you say goes.

You can say NO if you don’t want a kiss or hug .

No one is allowed to hurt your body in any way.

If someone mistreats you TELL US

4. NO SECRETS

You should NEVER keep secrets that make you feel bad or uncomfortable.

If someone asks you to keep a secret that makes you feel bad or unsafe, you must TELL and adult of your SAFETY NETWORK straight away.

You won’t get in trouble.

2. YOUR BODY IS PRIVATE

The parts of your body covered by your underwear are your PRIVATE body parts.

No one can touch your private parts. No one can ask you to touch their private parts.

And no one should show you pictures of private parts. If any of these things happen, you must TELL US.

5. NO GIFTS

Sometimes people try and trick you by giving you treats, money of gifts to gain your trust.

Refuse to do what they ask and don’t take the gifts they give you. TELL SOMEONE.

3. CREATE A SAFETY NETWORK

  1. Mum or Dad
  2. Grandparents
  3. Teachers
