In August we farewelled Jake McLennan as Camp Leader of Camp Diversity. Jake did a remarkable job during his tenure, bringing the program back after COVID. Thank you Jake for your efforts!
We are excited to announce that Tom Clooney will be taking over from Jake as the new Camp Leader of Camp Diversity!
Tom first became involved with LSC&PH after attending Big Camp in 2015 as a Dark Blue Grouper, nominated by his neighbours Wok and Hannah Dunn.
Shortly after, Tom became involved with our Community Camps and found his passion lay with Camp Diversity. Tom’s been involved Camp Diversity as a Group Leader, Group Leader Coordinator and, most recently, served as the Participant Coordinator for 4 years. Outside of Camp Diversity, Tom has taken on a wide variety of committee and HOD roles across a variety of LSC&PH programs and activities.
Tom is incredibly honoured and excited to be taking over as the next Camp Leader of Camp Diversity. He is eager to work with the Diversity Exec Team and Committee to ensure that all Camp attendees have a rewarding, fun-filled, empowering and safe experience at camp.
