The program
ATLAS is a weekend camp for teenagers from a refugee or newly migrated background. Activities and entertainment are designed with the aim to help participants build self-confidence, share in cultural exchange, make new friends, try new experiences and create a sense of belonging and identity to help participants adjust to a new life in Australia. The program also promotes mutual understanding amongst multicultural youth and volunteer staff.
The attendees
13-17 year olds from a refugee or newly migrated background. Participants are connected with partner organisations, including; SAIL, SECL, Anglicare, Western Chances
